Mission Control Web Proxy

The Web Proxy acts as an intermediary that enforces an organization's internet access security policy for clients that request access to resources located in the public internet. Depending on the options that are activated, the Web Proxy increases the level of protection of client machines against malicious content and restricts access to URL categories.

Blacklist entries based on IP addresses, domains, domain names or hostnames can be customized in the Web Proxy. Additional flexibility and broader configuration options can be achieved with the URL Filter, introducing category-based access rules and customizable blacklists and whitelists. Group and port access policies are granularly definable and assign access rules to groups of network resources such as IP addresses and ports.

The Mission Control Portal features a log viewer that allows authorized personnel to display and access log information either in real time or based on historical data. It offers detailed data about every web request, including scanned HTTPS connections, which gives insight into each step that a request takes when passing through the Web Proxy.
